The complete list is below. Please look for your position so you see what you need to have to be considered trained in your position in Scouting so you can offer the best program.

 

Cub Scout Leaders:

Fast Start for your position

Youth Protection Training (renewed every 2 years)

This Is Scouting

Cub Leader Specific Training

A Cub Trainer is going to be a required position. Get your person trained now

Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters:

Fast Start for your position

Youth Protection Training (renewed every 2 years)

This Is Scouting

Scoutmaster/Asst. Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills

Cub and/or Troop Committee Members:

Fast Start for your position

Youth Protection Training (renewed every 2 years)

This Is Scouting

Cub or Troop Committee Challenge

(offered as a part of Cub of Boy Scout Specific Training)

 

Venturing Crew Advisors, Assistant Advisors,

Committee Members:

Fast Start for your position

Youth Protection (renewed every 2 years)

Venturing Leader Specific Training

Unit/District and Assistant District Commissioners:

Youth Protection Training (renewed every 2 years)

Roundtable Commissioners/ Roundtable Training Staff:

Trainer’s Edge is a training that someone in every Unit should have.

All commissioner’s should have this training, Wood Badge and NYLT is

requiring it. The training is for youth and adults.
